Superintendent Dr. Muri talked about the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the fall in the oil and gas industry, and the significant effect it is going to have on state budgets in the coming few years. He said this is the right time to remind our legislative representatives how important it is to invest in public education. State Representative Brooks Langraf also talked to the board members, pledging his commitment to funding education adequately. He called, giving students access to a high quality education is a constitutional responsibility, and one he takes very seriously.
