    Routine vaccination is an essential preventive care service for children and adolescents that should not be delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.     Texas laws also allow parents to opt out of vaccinations. The following link will give you information on obtaining an affidavit so your child can be exempted from vaccinations. You must apply for the affidavit and present it to your school before your child can be admitted to the school. Your child cannot be in school while you await the affidavit.
