Welcome to the 2021-22 school year!

The health and safety of our students and our team members is always our first concern. COVID-19 is still very active in our community, and safety protocols are necessary to do our part to limit the spread of the virus in our schools. Below is a summary of the protocols that are in place as of Monday, August 2, 2021. We will update them as they change. Our Back-to-School Planning team is considering all aspects of the school day and school activities, and you can follow along with those decisions on this page under the icon called Opening Schools Decision Points. Thank you for your understanding and your support as we navigate the start of another school year under COVID guidelines. There is a lot of information for you on this page. We encourage you to check the school calendars – we have two different start days – and the start and end times, for any changes that will affect your children.

2021-22 Back to School COVID Protocols

PreK-3 at Carver EEC and Lamar EEC: 8:00 – 11:00 a.m., 12:30-3:30 p.m.

PreK-3 at Odessa YMCA: 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Elementary Schools: 7:40 a.m. – 3:20 p.m.

Travis Elementary & Noel Elementary (3rd-5th): 7:30 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.

Middle Schools: 8:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.

High Schools: 8:35 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

0-Hour 7:50-8:40

Juniors and seniors have open campus lunch

Odessa Collegiate Academy & OCTECHS:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 3:40 pm (note – a few OC college classes will be 3:30 – 4:50 pm)

Friday: 8:00 am – 2:40 pm
